Well they do say you need to grab people's attention in the first line, so as the new Sales Manager I thought I might see if I actually do know what I am talking about.

No doubt throughout the year many will take the opportunity to agree or disagree.

I have known of Micromech for many years through mutual sailing and motorcycling interests with some of the staff. I found it intruiging that unlike the usual tone of the conversation when people mention their work or their employer over a beer, these people were very positive, enthusiastic about their work and their company.

So when I learnt that Micromech were casting for a Sales Manager as a result of internal promotion I leapt at the chance to see if I could join this impressive outfit, the rest as they say is history.

I have not been disappointed, they truly are bonkers about the control of motion and all that goes with it, and what a refreshing environment to find the entire company positively interested in moving heaven and earth to assist their clients. It is a real tonic and makes my job a doddle.

I am still happily married to the first Mrs Brown, we think our money is almost about to be ours again and that we can soon once again walk about naked in the morning without bumping into a stranger on the landing invited to stay over by one of our children. Watch this space..... but we may even be in that happy position very soon where we can sell up without telling them where we have gone and not be missed.......

If you are reading this you probably do have an interest in the control of motion, all I can suggest is that you do have alternatives to Micromech and you should check them out, possibly even try dealing with them and buying from them. But having done that give Micromech a whirl and compare your experience.

We aim to please is an exhuasted phrase, a commitment to service and the customer's needs is something fast disappearing from our economy, Micromech is old fashioned when it comes to its philosophy, almost nostalgic, in that we genuinely believe YOU the customer comes first.

Now all I have to do is convince her indoors of the same ideal, without having to explain which YOU I am talking about, and the three offspring likewise recognise our years dedicated service to their needs, then I will have communicated something to you and simultaneously the same to them. I'll let you know how I get on.......

Bits, Bytes, Newtons, Pythagorus theorem, Torque, Ohms, Force, Coefficient of friction and Bearings encompass some of the many things Micromech fully understand, but ultimately all that very clever stuff relates to some thing that enables another individual to achieve what they are trying to achieve.

So I will sign off by urging you to do two things, firstly to ask yourself the two part question "What is it I am trying to achieve and Why?", then.... "How might I benefit by dealing with Micromech?". Once you have your own answers, jump on the telephone and see if I am not right in that the folk at Micromech are precisely what you have been looking for.
