A new revolutionary anti-cage creep solution, the KRE-ACC has been developed for manufacturers of the next generation of machines. Now available from Micromech, the UK distributor for PM bearings, this innovative design is introduced to meet today’s tough demands for improved bearings.

The KRE cage is designed with cleverly engineered plastics and special moulding technology, offering a high-density roller cage with reduced friction resistance and extreme low noise level. This state-of-the-art technology boosts bearing life and performance at an increased load capacity of over 25% and can accept an acceleration in excess of 30G.

The KRE is UHV compatible and a drop in replacement for the standard version but due to its ultra strong design can be mounted in any direction. The novel construction of the KRE also means overall cost savings can be made.

Anti-cage creep systems should be used for applications requiring very high, unbalanced rates of acceleration or vertical applications that due to a tendency for the bearing to creep to one end of the bearing create extra noise and a reduction in bearing life.
